Partners in Economic Inclusion
The Asiapro Multipurpose Cooperative partners with DSWD for the implementation of the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) in the National Capital Region.
On March 26, 2026, a MOA signing was held at the Tipon Building to formalize the partnership. DSWD Regional Director Michael Lorico was represented by Ms Jessa Christie Cadiang, SLP Regional Partnership Officer, and by other DSWD officers.
AMPC Chairman Ian Peñalosa and President Michael V. Gonzalez expressed their strong support to the partnership during the signing ceremony.
Chairman Ian pointed out that AMPC shares with DSWD the same passion and mission to improve the socio-economic conditions of poor and marginalized communities. President MVG mentioned that the cooperative network spans multiple locations across the country and could also be additional areas of cooperation and convergence for SLP beyond the NCR.
The lead units in the project implementation are the HROD and the Asiapro Foundation, facilitating the Cooperative’s participation in job fairs, caravans and employment assessment activities for SLP areas. The hiring of eligible applicants will be subject to the set requirements of the partner cooperatives.
